We're pleased to welcome three new trustees to The New Zealand Film Festival Trust Board. Kaine Thompson, Sharon Menzies and Toby Manhire join the existing members, bringing exceptional skills to the festival. The trio bring diverse sector experience and will join the Board from Thursday 11 May 2023.

The New Zealand Film Festival Trust is the governing body which annually presents Whānau Mārama: New Zealand International Film Festival (NZIFF) nationwide with this year’s taking place in 16 towns and cities from Whangarei to Gore spanning 19 July to 10 September.

Trust Chair Catherine Fitzgerald said the Trust is emerging from three challenging years and is now looking ahead to a period of regeneration.

“The Board plays a critical role in providing strategic direction for our dedicated management team and staff and we are delighted to welcome these new trustees whose dynamic backgrounds and extensive experience will contribute to the expertise and experience of the current Board.”
