On Tuesday 13, Ryuichi Sakamoto | Opus had it's first screening in Tāmaki Makaurau. Directed by Neo Sora, the son of Ryuichi Sakamoto himself, the film is a starkly intimate, self-performed elegy capturing a dying man’s genius. The screening featured an introduction from Whānau Mārama New Zealand International Film Festival Artistic Director Paolo Bertolin, followed by a post-film Q&A with Neo Sora.
