Heroes get all the credit… time to celebrate your inner villain. Get hyped-up for Vera Drew’s The People’s Joker, both a DC parody and a trans coming-of-age tale set against the backdrop of Gotham City, and this year’s NZIFF Midnight Screening.

Make sure to paint on your best smile, as there’ll be spot prizes for best dressed thanks to our friends at Armageddon Expo, as well as themed cocktails from the Black Sparrow. Rumour floating around Gotham is that the caped crusader, Batman himself, may even make an appearance as a guest DJ.

Dress to impress, that means...clown makeup, any form of cosplay, super-villains and super-heroes. All those in costume will receive a spot prize!
