Whānau Mārama: New Zealand International Film Festival 2024 opened to a full house in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland on Wednesday 7 August with a second screening of Josephine Stewart-Te Whiu's electric debut We Were Dangerous, which opens the festival in all centres outside of Ōtautahi Christchurch.
Stewart-Te Whiu was in attendance with cast members Rima Te Wiata, and Erana James, alongside producers Polly Fryer and Morgan Waru and members of the Madman distribution team.
